So, Matt Painter is gone. Up and left. The man who turned in the 2nd best regular season in SIU history has officially accepted the offer from Purdue University to be their associate head coach next season and a promotion to head coach in 2005. Yippy Skippy. Supposedly, SIU will name his replacement TOMORROW afternoon in a press conference. This means that they are promoting from within and the program will officially hit the fan. God I hate the Big 10.
In Other News...
a) As I said earlier, I am worried about Matt Clement and today proved my concerns. Only 12 times did the radar gun go above 90 and his control was basically atrocious. Instead of walking the world though, he just let them hit the ball. This first month could get very, very ugly.
b) Michael Wuertz is my hero. And another prediction Barry missed. Im starting to notice a pattern.
c) I hate school.
d) I really, really, really hate school.
