So today is going to be good. Cubs game and Masters' Sunday, not to mention gobs of Easter candy. It'll be cool. Last night I fell asleep watching Back to the Future III and I have to say that it is pretty good, except for the terrible special effects and lowsy plot lines. But a pre-Parkinsons Michael J. Fox is a decent watch. I think the safe in the bank in BTF III is also a joke...i mean come on. It's obviously just a piece of junk.
Last night's game was a freakin' tragedy. Andy Pratt is turning into a white, left-handed Juan Cruz. I also am unsure why they wouldn't have brought in LaTroy instead of Kyle knowing that Kyle can tend to have some control problems once in a while. I hope when Prior comes back they keep Mitre in the rotation, bump Matt "Leno" Clement to the pen, and send Todd "he's an attractive man" Wellemeyer to AAA. That hurky-jerky motion is annoying and not so consistent.
A friend of mine works in the same suburb that Steve Bartman lives and he told me last night that the town threw Steve a "Blame Alex, not the fan" party. I think it was great. Only someone scuzzy and mildly whore-ish like Jimmy Sederquist would be so trite as to blame Mr. Bartman for anything.
Friday at work my supervisor bought me dinner because she is nice when she wants to be. I had a delectable turkey and cheese sandwich on magnificent 8-grain bread. The dinner also came with a cup of potato soup and a can of pop. I would guesstimate that is was the best soup/sandwich/pop combination that I, The Best Ever, have had. Pickerman's soups and sandwiches in Rockford, IL is good, but I cannot say it is the best in the world.
