All is well. There are no complaints and no specific short term worries. Just the looming future, but that will wait until I decide to take it on. I am really, really tired lately though. Physically I mean. I am only getting 2-4 hours of sleep, and nothing I do seems to help. Maybe my room is too bright or I have something on my mind I can't exactly figure out, but whatever it might be is driving me up a wall.
I saw a great sunset-esque event yesterday. It wasn't a true sunset, but it worked well enough. The sun slowing bleeding through a line of intense clouds and leaving strands of sunbursts across the lower western sky as a slight rain fell. It was nice.
Yet again, the lying has hit. But this time, I am going to brush it off. Honesty people...just a little honesty. It isn't hard really. You just say what is reality and don't hide behind some self-indulgent curtain. If you're insecure, that's fine...everyone is about something, but I won't care. I'm quite possibly the most insecure person you'll ever meet. Just be honest...you don't have to upfront about stuff. I understand that's not easy for people, but if I direct a question at you, just tell me the freaking truth.
So I think maybe I need to go on a "talk less" fasting regime. I've realized I talk way too much and I really have nothing much to say. So I am going to try and be more reserved...and I figure summer is a good proving ground for such an experiment. I know Im not that interesting, so I might as well not speak too much, right?
The Cubs have won 4 in a row and that's why I am posting again. They got off the schnide, so I did as well. It's nice to see them playing well and the game tonight is on ESPN, so that cheers me up.
In Other News...
a) that no cell phone thing was a good idea.
b) my shoulder isn't doing well. It feels really loose. I am kind of worried.
c) Ive stopped writing. As soon as I got into Carbondale I had no more words. It really kind of sucks. I wish I could just be consistently creative. I feel like I have written some good stuff and I wish I could just write at that level more, but I just can't seem to find anything that keeps me close.
d) Alec is crazy.
