I've decided I am going to do lists for a while. And maybe some rankings. I am pretty sure that no one reads this anymore, but its worth a review and a write up. Perhaps, sometimes, I will give my brilliant insight on various topics. Tonight, the 'list' will be fired up with my Top 6 most hated individuals of 2004.
6) Paris Hilton. Perhaps if someone could've told me that she was going to be on 7 television channels a night at the beginning of the year, I would've just put a hammer through my TV. It is unreal how much press a person gets for merely being rich, stupid, and slutty. She is also a reason that I hate a large plurality of America.
5) Charlie Rangel. For those of you who dont know, Mr. Rangel is a U.S. Representative from New York. And he is the author of the infamous bill to re-institute the draft to 'equalize' the military. Well, Cap'n Liberal Idiot, last time I checked, this was a voluntary military...so your little argument that a disproportionate number of minorities enter the military appear to be the fault of none other than their own. Maybe if these young men and women spent a bit more time studying and working at school from, say, ages 14-18, their only option out of high school wouldn't be the military. But God forbid we ask for a little personal responsibility, lets just punish middle class white kids who are the largest group of educated individuals in the country. Brilliant Mr. Rangel, brilliant.
4) Barry Bonds. I never liked him. I mean, in all honesty, who ever did. A complete jerk in every aspect, plus major disdain for a responsible relationship with the media. Now, he essentially risks a perjury charge by lying on the stand about 'not having knowledge' that what he took were steroids. There is no way in HELL that a professional athlete injects himself with a substance without knowing exactly what it is and essentially asking for the chemical breakdown in picture form. It is ridiculous that Mr. Bonds will be allowed to play from now on let alone have zero punishment from this and zero negation of his 'records'. He has hurt baseball on a fundamental level more than ANY individual in the past 80 years. I hope the fans across America treat him as the cheater he is.
3) Howard Dean. Could it get any worse than this guy? Can you imagine him being your family physician? Sweet Jesus. Beyond the screams and chaos and belligerence, are the actual ideas this man has. He, essentially, is a true socialist in a Democrat's clothing. He wants government offices to dole out options to the 'consumer', 'taxpayer', 'citizen', or whatever other term the government re-assigns us. It will be simple lunacy if the Dems give this man the DNC post. I will be even more determined to enlighten individuals on the realities of liberalism and freedom.
2) Sean Penn. What the hell does this guy know about foreign policy that I don't? Oh wait, he has money? And a private jet? Sweet. Let's give him the Ambassadorship to Albania, maybe he could help us out in that Muslim nation. He goes to Iraq and pretends to give a 'real account' of the day to day life there post-occupation. What he really does is prove the idiocy of the Hollywood left and the 'pull' they think they have, or, more likely, the pull they think they SHOULD have. I found it really amusing that he wasn't too happy about his part in 'Team America" because (gasp) he wasn't shown in a positive light. This guy, like a of HL'ers, takes himself way to seriously, thinks he is much smarter than he is, and thinks American's are much dumber than they are.
1) Michael Moore. This should've been obvious to anyone who knows me. He's a raving idiot whose lies misinformed millions of ignorant, biased Americans. He outwardly admitted that his 'movie' was propaganda and had no use except to help Mr. Kerry get elected. Well, at least that failed. If he gets an Academy award nomination for this docu-crap, I, along with much of America, will be pissed as hell. Best picture? Come on. I hate Hollywood more each day and I hate Mr. Moore with more passion than a Fox Sports special about Brett Favre and Jim Edmonds. Moore is spineless scum whose only objective is to lie, manipulate, and bully ignorant Americans into his point of view for the future of this nation. Which would be a sad and pathetic version of America, not to mention an unconstituitional one. I could not, in reality, respect any American who could not or did not see his film as mere propaganda. I was hopeful that died out with Hitler, Gorbechev, and Mr. Truman's lies about the bomb, but I suppose I was wrong.
In Other News...
a) Cubs re-signed Nomar and Todd Walker. Im happy about this. But, perhaps, more happy about them signing Henry Blanco. He can actually hit the ball. Ce La Vie Bako.
b) The Monkees' pleasant valley sunday is an underrated song.
c) I think I might be addicted to jawbreakers. They are really grand.
d) I need a freaking job.
